Bhubaneswar: Governor Dr SC Jamir was admitted to Apollo Hospitals here on Thursday after he complained of severe chest pain.
The 88-year-old Jamir felt uneasy as he suffered from cardiac problem.
“The health condition of the Governor is currently stable and he is under observation,” cardiologist of the hospital Dr Prashant Kumar Sahoo informed.
Jamir served as Chief Minister of Nagaland, Governor of Maharashtra, Governor of Gujarat and Governor of Goa before assuming office here in March 2013.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik visited the Governor at the hospital and wished him speedy recovery.
