Bhubaneswar: Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu arrived in Bhubaneswar on a two-day visit to the state on Friday.
Governor Ganeshi Lal and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik received the Vice President after he landed at Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) in a special aircraft from Hyderabad around 11.15 am.
After having lunch at Raj Bhawan, he will proceed to Cuttack to attend the 600 birth anniversary of Adikabi Sarala Das at the Sarala Bhawan and return to Raj Bhawan, where he will have a night halt.
On April 3, he will attend the annual convocation of Utkal University as the chief guest. He will spend around an hour at the varsity before flying back to New Delhi at 5 pm.
