Habishyali Dies After Falling From Running Train In Odisha’s Khurda

Khurda: A Habishyali (woman observing fast) reportedly died after falling off a running train in Odisha’s Khurda district on Monday.

As per reports, the woman, identified as Jhili Mansingh from Kumbhirapada village under Balugaon police station of the district, had gone to Puri to observe ‘Habisha’ (penance) during holy month of Kartik.

After the end of the month on Monday, Jhili completed her puja and boarded a train to return to her village. As the train was approaching Balugaon station, she reportedly tried to get down.
Unable to keep the balance while alighting from the running train, she fell down. The Government Railway Police (GRP) rushed her to the local hospital where she was declared brought dead. Later, the police informed her family.
