You may have seen women with long hair in your family or among acquaintances. But this lady will take your breath away.
Meet Akanksha Yadav, whose hair length measures a staggering 3.01 metres, or 9 feet 10.5 inches!
The lady from Maharashtra’s Thane has easily found a place in the Limca Book of World Records 2020-2022. The 30th volume of the book of records features her as title holder for having the longest hair.
It obviously requires a great effort and commitment to maintain such long hair over years, but the pharmaceutical and management professional considers it a ‘blessing.’
“Winning a national title in itself is significant. Records are great. However, fulfilment, contribution and ardour are even greater,” Akanksha was quoted as saying by indianexpress.com.
A fitness enthusiast, Akanksha also holds the title for longest hair in India Book of Records.
Many would be curious to know how the part-time model maintains her floor-length, lustrous hair, but Akanksha just quipped: “I don’t spend more than 20 minutes on hair wash or other hair tasks during a day.”
But has she ever cut her hair?
“I have chopped it from beyond floor-length to below waist,” Akanksha informed.
