Bhubaneswar: Police on Thursday recovered a half-burnt body of a woman from a building at Madhusudan Nagar under Kharavel Nagar police limits in Odisha capital.
The deceased has been identified as Minushree Praharaj (52).
While the body has been sent for postmortem, her husband Bishnu Mohan Praharaj has been detained for questioning, police sources said.
It is suspected that Minushree might have been burnt to death. Her husband told the police that he had last seen her at 9.30 pm on Wednesday. “A probe is underway and we can divulge more information after the investigation,” said an officer of Kharavel Nagar police station.
