Mumbai: A Sessions court on Monday further deferred its verdict on the bail application of the MP-MLA couple of Navneet Rana and Ravi Rana till Wednesday, India Today reported.
The Ranas were arrested on April 23 over their threat to recite Hanuman Chalisa outside Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray’s residence. The couple, who ultimately called off the plan, was later charged with sedition.
The court heard the bail plea on Saturday, saying at the end of two-and-a-half hour session that hearing will continue on Monday. But the court couldn’t reach a conclusion today.
