Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan is celebrating his 78th birthday.

Today is a day of celebration for Big B, his family, and his fans across the globe. Amitabh Bachchan, known for larger than life persona, proved that he is an ultimate legend.

At this age, he is still active in show biz and doing so well. His strong choice of roles gives today’s actors a run for the money. His unique choice of scripts whether it’s Piku, Pink, Gulaboo Sitaboo, or his upcoming films Brahmastra. The legendary actor is winning hearts with his great performances.

He made his Bollywood debut as one of the seven protagonists in the film Saat Hindustani directed by Khwaja Ahmad Abbas.

He gained popularity in the early 1970s for films such as Zanjeer, Deewaar and Sholay, and was tagged India’s “angry young man” for his on-screen roles in Hindi films. He is also known as Shahenshah of Bollywood, Star of the Millennium.
