New York: In the heat of another Presidential campaign, the controversial Donald Trump celebrated his 78th birthday on Friday.
At daggers drawn as the oldest-ever Presidential candidates both seek a second term, former President Trump couldn’t have expected roses from the Biden (who is 81 years old) camp.
But what he received was quite nasty.
The Joe Biden Presidential campaign greeted Trump with a message saying that he was a “crook, a failure, and a fraud.”
“Happy birthday, Donald. You’re a crook, a failure, a fraud, and a threat to our democracy, economy, rights, and future,” the Biden campaign said.
“On behalf of America, our early gift for your 79th: Making sure you are never President again.”
That was not all.
The Biden administration also shared a list of Trump’s 78 “accomplishments”, in which they pointed out that he was the first American President to be convicted and indicted on various charges.
Check the list which has gone viral on social media:
Biden himself was more sober in his personal wish.
“Happy 78th birthday, Donald. Take it from one old guy to another: Age is just a number. This election, however, is a choice,” Biden wrote on X, along with a short video contrasting his actions and policies with those of Trump.
November 5 is the D-Day when American will choose between Biden and Trump, though many feel the later may not ultimately be allowed to run for Presidency because of his conviction and several cases against him.
On his birthday, Trump dismissed Biden as too frail to handle a second term while addressing a crowd in Florida.
“Our country is being destroyed by incompetent people. All presidents should have aptitude tests,” Trump said.
