Hyderabad: A young woman, who hails from Odisha, was found hanging at her Mailardevpally residence on International Women’s Day.
The 19-year-old, who had migrated to Hyderabad for livelihood, allegedly took the extreme step after being harassed by a stalker.
Mailardevpally police registered an abetment to suicide case on Tuesday against the stalker identified as Ashraf, who lives in the same locality, the New Indian Express reported.
The victim’s family members told police that Ashraf had been forcing her to go with him on his bike and talk to him over the phone.
