Nayagarh: A woman employee of Ranpur College in Nayagarh district has brought harassment charges against two lecturers of the educational institution.
According to an FIR lodged by the victim, the two teachers identified as Dr Harekrushna Mohapatra and Dr Chandrakant Paikray had been harassing her both physically and mentally since long.
Despite a written complaint to the principal of the college, no action has been taken against the wrongdoers so far, she further alleged.
The woman works as a junior clerk-cum-typist in the college.
Following the complaint, police have registered a case under Sections 354 and 354 (1) of IPC and investigating the matter.
On the other hand, Principal of the College Subash Chandra Barik said that the matter has been referred to the anti-sexual harassment committee which has been asked to submit a detailed report in this connection.
