New Delhi: Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh on Friday, opted out of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The star cricketer conveyed his decision to Chennai Super King’s (CSK) team management.
Harbhajan is the second player in the CSK camp after Suresh Raina to withdrew from IPL 2020. Harbhajan wasn’t a part of the CSK team that flew to UAE. He was expected to fly later. Also, he was also not a part of the camp that was organised in Chennai.
Meanwhile, Sourav Ganguly, president Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) said that the whole schedule of IPL 2020 will be released on Friday. UAE is hosting IPL 2020 from September 19 to November 10 this year. However, the full itinerary is not yet out.
“We understand schedules are delayed. It is almost on the verge of getting final and should be released by Friday,” Saurav Ganguly was quoted as saying by ABP news.
