Mumbai: Hardik Pandya is currently out of the Indian team as he is recovering from a quadriceps injury.
The allrounder, who was ruled out of Team India’s upcoming white-ball tour of Australia, seems to be in a happy personal space.
Hardik, who turned 32 on Saturday, marked his special day with girlfriend Mahieka Sharma at a beach location.
Hardik seemingly confirmed his relationship with Mahieka a couple of days earlier as they were spotted together at Mumbai airport.
Soon after that, the Indian allrounder posted a series of Instagram stories featuring 24-year-old model Mahieka. The two are seen posing on a beach on what appears to be his birthday getaway.
Then there was a black-and-white photograph of the duo.
Hardik also shared photos in which he is with his family — son Agastya, mother and grandmother — along with a glimpse of a birthday cake.
Mahieka, who has worked with top designers and appeared in several music videos, has kept her personal life away from public scrutiny.
Rumours of Hardik and Mahieka dating had been gaining ground, with netizens noticing and pointing to overlapping travel pictures and subtle Instagram interactions. The latest posts have virtually validated their status, with many calling it an ‘unofficial confirmation.’
Hardik separated from wife Natasa Stankovic in 2024.
He was then rumoured to be dating UK-based singer Jasmin Walia after she was spotted at one of Hardik’s IPL matches and even boarded the Mumbai Indians team bus after a game. A few months later, the pair unfollowed each other on Instagram. He seems to have turned a new leaf in his personal life now.
