Hyderabad: A temple, a mosque and a church have been built in Telangana’s new Secretariat complex.
The places of worship, symbolising harmony and brotherhood among all communities, were inaugurated here on Friday with Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao attending special prayers, reported PTI.
Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), the ruling party in Telangana, shared pictures of temple, mosque and church-opening ceremonies on its official X handle.
Speaking at the mosque today, chief minister KCR said the state government’s efforts to maintain brotherhood in Telangana will continue.
AIMIM president and Hyderabad Lok Sabha member Asaduddin Owaisi, his younger brother and AIMIM floor leader in the assembly Akbaruddin Owaisi were present at the inauguration of the mosque.
The new Secretariat was inaugurated by the CM on April 30.
