Haryana Police Issues Lookout Notice For Badshah In Controversial Music Video Case

Chandigarh: Haryana Police have initiated the process to issue a lookout notice against rap singer Badshah in a case linked to his Haryanvi music video “Tateeree”, officials said on Saturday.

Several police teams have been constituted to ensure the singer’s arrest, reports claims. Police are conducting raids at various possible locations. The action comes after an FIR was registered over alleged o

bjectionable content in the music video.

The FIR was lodged at a police station in Panchkula following a complaint by a local resident who alleged that the recently released song contained objectionable lyrics and visuals.

The complainant claimed that the song has lyrics, which are indecent words against women and girls. The video also features a Haryana Roadways bus. Cops are probing if permission was taken before using the bus in the video.

Meanwhile, the Haryana State Commission for Women has also taken cognisance of the matter and summoned the rapper to appear before it on March 13.

Authorities have also initiated steps to remove the music video from online platforms. The song has reportedly been taken down from YouTube, and action is underway to have it removed from other platforms as well.
