Has CBSE Made Its Portal For Re-evaluation Functional? Know Here…

New Delhi: Even as the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had said that its post-result portal for verification of marks and re-evaluation of answer books would be made operational on June 1, uncertainty prevailed over its functioning. The portal remained inactive till 4pm, leaving many students uncertain about the application process. CBSE has indicated that an official announcement regarding activation of the portal will be issued shortly.

According to the board, the decision to postpone activation was taken to maintain the highest standards of

evaluation and to strengthen the system before accepting applications for verification and re-evaluation, reports stated. The move comes amid concerns over technical glitches and scrutiny of the board’s digital evaluation infrastructure.

Once the portal becomes active, students will be able to apply online through the official CBSE website for services such as verification of marks, obtaining evaluated answer sheets and re-evaluation of answers. Candidates will be required to log in using their examination credentials and complete the application process online, including payment of the prescribed fee.

The board has asked students to keep their roll number, school number and admit card details ready before applying. It has also arranged helpline and email support facilities to assist students facing difficulties during the post-result review process.

The re-evaluation process has drawn significant attention this year following concerns raised by students over the new digital evaluation system and portal-related issues. To address these challenges, CBSE has been working with technical experts, including specialists from IITs, to improve the stability and security of its online platforms.
