Hathras (Uttar Pradesh): The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) questioned the family members of Hathras gang-rape victim for almost five hours on Saturday.
The CBI is investigating into the 20-year old Dalit woman’s torture and alleged gang-rape. The woman died in a Delhi hospital last month.
According to the victim’s sister-in-law, the CBI team asked her questions related to the case.
“They did not ask me many questions. They asked me about Chotu, but I don’t know him. They have taken victim’s clothes with them. They carried out questioning for hours. We did not face any pressure,” the sister-in-law said.
As a part of the probe, the central agency team collected samples from the spot where the victim of the alleged gang-rape was cremated on September 30, according to NDTV.
