Khurda: The Khurda district administartion has declared Hatia Mundia hill in Tapang, which has turned into a popular hangout for youth, as a prohibited area.

District officials on Monday went to Hatia Mundia and asked people to immediately vacate the place. They also warned them of action if they visited the place again.

Notably, the district administration had banned stone quarry operations in Hatia Mundia hill. However, live dynamites that were used for the quarry operations are still found at this place. Apart from this, there is a massive deposit of water around the hill due to heavy rain.

There was a rush of people to Hatia Mundia after several photos of this place went viral on social media.
