Headless Body: Post Mortem Report Reveals Grisly Details Of Murdered Woman In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Two days after the recovery of a woman’s headless body on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar, the Commissionerate Police circulated posters of the victim’s photo in several areas of the city on Saturday.

Police also issued two telephone numbers — 8280338323 and 8280338296 — to get information about the deceased.

In a related development, police sources said the report of the autopsy conducted at Capital Hospital has revealed that the woman was beheaded after she was strangulated.

Bhubaneswar DCP Umashankar Dash, however, stated that the body of the woman was sent to AIIMS Bhubaneswar for another post mortem.

Motably, the headless body was first spotted by some locals near Dasapur on Bharatpur-Chandaka Road early on Thursday.
