Koraput: Police have arrested the headmaster of a government high school for allegedly misbehaving with a woman in Odisha’s Koraput district.
According to the complaint filed by the woman at Jeypore police station, she boarded a bus at Koraput to go to Boriguma. She took the seat next to a man, identified as Santosh Kumar, the headmaster of Boriguma Government High School.
On the way, Kumar started misbehaving with the woman. Though she opposed him, the headmaster continued to physically harass her. On returning to Jeypore, the woman filed the complaint.
The IIC of the police station Sanjay Kumar Mandal told the media persons that they had registered a case on the basis of the complaint and arrested the headmaster.
