Bhadrak: The headmistress of Charigharia Upper Primary School was
caught by vigilance officials on Thursday while accepting a bribe to the
tune of Rs 8,200.
The accused was identified as Anita Pradhan.
Responding to a complaint, a team of the anti-corruption department
laid a trap and caught Pradhan red-handed in her office room while
allegedly receiving the bribe amount from a person for clearing a bill
for providing uniforms to students of the school.
Further inquiry into the matter was ongoing by the vigilance sleuths,
reports said.
