Ahmedabad: A health official in Gujarat’s Gandhinagar tested positive for COVID-19, days after the 2nd dose of the vaccine was administered to him.
He was administered the first dose on January 16 and the second one on February 15.
On February 20, he had fever and tested positive for COVID-19.
However, it is important to note that it takes around 45 days for antibodies to develop after both doses of vaccine are administered.
The total number of people vaccinated with one dose in India is inching towards two crore.
