Berhampur: Ganjam district administration on Thursday started screening health of those who have recovered from COVID-19 to identify post-COVID health issues.
The health team also encouraged people who are completely healthy to donate plasma during a health check-up.
The health screening that has started in all blocks, including the Berhampur Municipal Corporation area, is expected to continue for the next seven days.
The ANM, Asha, Anganwadi and Ayush doctors are involved in the health check-up process. The doctors in the team were advised to collect detailed information of the healed person and treat some of their complex and chronic health issues.
Ganjam Collector Vijay Amrita Kulange said on Wednesday that any person who was re-infected during the health check-up would be shifted to COVID Hospital.
