Bhubaneswar: Odisha Government has revised the COVID-19 vaccination timings in view of the heat wave condition.
To be implemented with immediate effect, the vaccination sessions will be conducted from 8 am to 12 noon and 3 pm to 6 pm, the Additional Chief Secretary of Health and Family Welfare department, PK Mohapatra stated in a letter on Monday.
All arrangements like waiting space. observation room and vaccination room besides drinking water facility shall be made at the session, the letter read.
The ACS asked the authorities concerned to ensure COVID appropriate behaviour like use of mask, hand washing facility and social distancing at the session sites.
He also that efforts should be made through awareness drives among the community and mobilisation of beneficiaries to achieve daily target fixed for each district.
The district have been asked to submit daily report to the state by 6.30 pm positively.
