Bhubaneswar: The Regional Meteorological Centre here on Monday issued heavy rainfall warning for 25 districts of Odisha, including the twin cities of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar.
According to nowcast (hourly bulletin), heavy rain is likely to lash Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Sundargarh, Malkangiri, Koraput, Deogarh, Khurda (including Bhubaneswar), Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Nayagarh, Kalahandi, Nuapada, Balangir, Bargarh, Balasore, Rayagada, Gajapati, Jajpur, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul, Dhenkanal, Boudh, Sonpur, Nabarangpur and Kandhamal districts between 3.45 pm and 6.45 pm.
Meanwhile, the images captured in the Doppler radar at Paradip on Monday indicated dense cloud mass over Bhubaneswar and Cuttack city, which received heavy rainfall this afternoon.
