Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rain for four districts – Gajapati, Rayagada, Mayurbhanj and Keonjhar – in Odisha on Monday.
It has also predicted thunderstorm with lighting and gusty surface wind speed reaching 40-50 kmph at one or two places in Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Rayagada, Koraput, Gajapati, Ganjam Kandhamal, Nuapada, Balasore, Sonepur, Boudh and Malkangiri districts.
The IMD has issued yellow warning for thunderstorm and lighting along with strong winds till 8.30 am on June 4.
