Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued nowcast warning for 15 districts of Odisha till 3.15 pm on Monday.
Light to moderate rain/thundershowers with one or two intense/heavy spells of rain is likely in some parts of districts of Puri, Balasore, Mayurbhanj, Nabarangpur, Koraput, Malkangiri, Kandhamal, Ganjam, Gajapati, Khurda (including Bhubaneswar), Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur, Angul, Dhenkanal and Raygada during the next three hours.
The MeT office has warned of waterlogging in low-lying areas, occasionally poor visibility and traffic disruption in urban areas.
The state has been experiencing heavy rain since Sunday under the influence of a low pressure over the Bay of Bengal.
