Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of India Meteorological Department on Saturday forecast moderate rain/thundershowers with one or two intense/heavy spells of rain in 20 districts of Odisha.
The weather condition will prevail in some parts of Balasore, Mayurbhanj, Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Nayagarh, Khurda (including Bhubaneswar), and likely to continue in some parts of Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Balangir, Sonepur, Nuapada, Bhadrak, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada, Ganjam, Gajapati, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Rayagada, Keonjhar, Dhenkanal and Jajpur for the next three hours till 5.10 pm.
“Waterlogging in low lying area, occasionally poor visibility and traffic disruption in urban area are likely. Avoid movement in affected area and do arrangement for drainage of excess water,” the Met Office said.
