Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Monday forecast light to moderate thunderstorm with lightning and light to moderate rain for some places in 17 districts of Odisha.
This weather condition will prevail in Rayagada, Ganjam, Gajapati, Nayagarh, Cuttack, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Nuapada and Kalahandi districts till 8.30 pm.
According to the IMD, light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at many places in North Coastal Odisha, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj in the next 24 hours.
Heavy rain is likely to lash several districts from July 7 to July 10.
