Bhubaneswar: While the Odisha capital experienced thundershowers on Monday afternoon, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorm and lightning till Friday (August 25) morning.
It has issued yellow warning for heavy rainfall from August 25 till the morning of August 28.
August 25
Heavy rainfall is likely to occur at one or two places in Nabarangpur, Kalahandi and Sundargarh.
August 26
Heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places in Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Dhenkanal and Cuttack.
Light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at many places over the districts of Odisha.
August 27
Heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places in Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Keonjhar, Nayagarh, andKhurda.
The IMD predicted partly cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thundershower in Bhubaneswar in the next 24 hours.
