Bhubaneswar: Heavy rain may continue in Odisha till 8.30 am on Friday, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) informed on Thursday.
The weather agency has issued yellow warning of heavy rainfall accompanied by thunderstorm and lightning for isolated places in Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Kandhamal, Angul, Dhenkanal, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Nuapada and Balangir districts.
Bhubaneswar may also experience cloudy sky with heavy rain. Light to moderate rain/thundershower is also likely at many places across the state.
While there is no further weather warning, light to moderate rain/thundershower may continue at a few places till October 2, it added.
