Bhubaneswar: Odisha is likely to witness heavy rainfall with yellow warning issued for six districts — Gajapati, Rayagada, Kalahandi,
Nabarangpur, Koraput and Malkangiri — on August 27, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Friday.
The Met office has issued yellow warning for thunderstorm for Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Boudh, Nayagarh, Khurda, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri, Nabarangpur, Gajapati, Ganjam, Angul, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Jajpur, Balasore and Bhadrak districts till 8.30 am on August 27.
The same warning has been issued for Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Sonepur, Boudh, Nuapada, Balangir, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Nabarangpur, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam and Gajapati districts from 8.30 am on August 27 till 8.30 am on August 28.
No rainfall forecast has been made from August 28 to August 30.
