Bhubaneswar: After a decrease in the intensity for a couple of days, Odisha is likely to witness heavy rainfall with yellow warning issued for four districts -Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangpur and Kalahandi – of the state on August 28, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) informed on Thursday.
The MeT office has also issued a yellow warning for thunderstorm for Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Kandhamal, Nayagarh, Boudh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj till 8.30 am on August 26.
The same warning has also been issued for Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Sonepur, Boudh, Nuapada, Balangir, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Nabarangpur, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati from 8.30 am on August 27 till 8.30 am on August 28.
