Bhubaneswar: Anyone found sticking posters and advertisements on smart devices and elements on Janpath and other places in Odisha capital will now have to cough up Rs 50,000 fine, Bhubaneswar Smart City Limited (BSCL) sources said.
The BSCL will impose the penalty with the help of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC). An FIR will also be lodged against the individual or agency. “We request people not to place advertisements in the Smart Elements of BSCL as it detracts from their aesthetic value. This is not permitted. All of the smart components are now branded by BSCL. If not followed an FIR will be filed along with the Rs 50K fine,” it tweeted.
