Bhubaneswar: With electioneering picking steam in Odisha, veteran Bollywood actress and BJP’s star campaigner Hema Malini arrived in Bhubaneswar on Friday.
Speaking to reporters, Hema said that Odisha will have a double-engine government. “People of Odisha are deprived of the benefits of many central schemes. So, a change in government is needed here,” she said.
She further said that Narendra Modi will hold office for third-term and 400-plus seats for the NDA will become a reality in this elections.
The veteran actress is scheduled to address a Ashirwad Samavesh at Salia Sahi here at and seek votes for its Bhubaneswar-North candidate Priyadarshi Mishra, before heading to Kishorenagar in Cuttack. She will then participate in a roadshow at Pipili around 3 pm and address a public meeting at Satyabadi, according to party sources.
