Hepatitis Day Message On Sand By Artist Manas Sahoo On Puri Beach

Puri: Artist Manas Kumar Sahoo has created sand art on Puri Beach on the occasion of ‘World Hepatitis Day’ based on this year’s theme “Hepatitis can’t wait”.

His theme of earth conveys the message that protection of lungs & our health is in our own hands. Hepatitis can be avoided if we follow all the rules properly.

“Protect Yourself From Hepatitis” and “World Hepatitis Day”, said the writing on sand art by Manas, who put in 7 hours of labour for the work.

Well-known Gastroenterologist, Dr Manoj Kumar Sahu inaugurated the sand art on Puri beach. World wide organisations are working to eliminate hepatitis by 2030 and the world will be free from the disease, Dr Sahu said.
