Bhubaneswar: BMW Group, which consists of both BMW and Mini, has sold a total of 6,604 units in India in 2020.
While BMW has sold 6,092 units, Mini has shipped 512 units.
More than 50 per cent of the sales came from the SUVs and crossovers such as X1, X3 and X5.
For Mini, it was Countryman that accounted for 40 per cent of the total sales. It is the only Mini that is locally made.
The two-wheeler division BMW Motorrad has sold 2,563 motorcycles. The BMW G 310 R and G 310 GS made for over 80 per cent of the total sales.
