Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has come up with a list of testing facilities for COVID-19 in the Odisha capital.
It is being done for free at Capital Hospital, where the RT-PCR test is done from 9 am to 1 pm. Rapid antigen test is conducted round-the-clock at the hospital.
The BMC has also opened rapid antigen testing facilities at Urban Primary Health Centres and Urban Community Health Centres in the city.
The tests are also been conducted in ten private labs – Institute of Medical Sciences & SUM Hospital, In DNA, GENX, AMRI Hospitals, Shree Hospital, CARE Super Specialty Hospital, Hi-Tech Medical College and Hospital, KIMS, Apollo Hospitals and East Coast.
While AMRI is providing TrueNat screening of the virus, Shree Hospital and CARE are conducting only rapid antigen test and Apollo only RT-PCR test. The remaining six can be approached for both RT-PRC and rapid antigen tests.
