London: Luxury carmaker Lamborghini has set a production record with 4,852 cars delivered in the last six months. The reason behind the high demand is its first-ever SUV, the Urus.
The Urus has been in the market for just 3 years and has set the sales chart on fire with 15,000 units produced in the shortest time for Lamborghini.
The 15,000th Urus will be sent to the UK, in a new ‘Graphite Capsule’ set of colours and finishes. The dual-tone interiors are dedicated to Nero Ade/Verde Scandal.
The luxury SUV has a 4.0-litre Twin Turbo V8 engine that makes 641 bhp and 850 Nm of peak torque. It can sprint from 0-100 kmph in 3.6 seconds and 0-200 kmph in 12.8 seconds. The top speed is electronically limited to 306 kmph.
The Lamborghini Urus starts at Rs 3.15 crore ex-showroom in India.
