High-Level Team Reviews COVID-19 Measures In Odisha’s Jail

Cuttack: A high-level team led by Cuttack District Sessions Judge Rajkumar Sahu on Sunday visited Choudwar Circle Jail to review the measures taken to combat COVID-19.

The team, including Registrar of Orissa High Court and Odisha State Legal Service Authority members, inspected jail wards, cells, quarantine facility and isolation ward.

According to sources, the team verified whether the jail authorities were implementing the COVID-19 guidelines on the premises and interacted with inmates.

The Circle Jail Superintendent Subhakanta Mishra informed that they have provided face masks and hand sanitizer to the inmates and are ensuring social distancing in daily activities.
