Bhubaneswar: In a case of rash driving, a car driver allegedly high on drugs caused a series of accidents in Suryanagar area of Odisha’s Bhubaneswar city on Sunday, leaving three people critically injured.
According to sources, the man drove rashly under the spell of drugs with two other occupants and rammed into three vehicles at Suryanagar. Three persons were critically injured in the accidents and admitted to Capital Hospital here.
People in the locality later managed to intercept the car and nab the trio while they were trying to flee and handed them over police.
Sources further said that traces of drugs and other stuff were found inside the seized car. Police have taken the three into custody and begun investigation.
