Bhubaneswar: Odisha registered the highest single day recovery of 290 patients from COVID-19 on Sunday.
According to Health and Family Welfare department, maximum number of 99 recovery cases were reported from the COVID-19 hotspot Ganjam district on the day. It was followed by 56 cases from Gajapati, 33 from Jharsuguda, 16 each from Cuttack and Nabarangpur, 15 from Balasore, 11 from Sambalpur and 10 from Khurda districts.
Following is the number of recovered patients in respective districts:
8 from Mayurbhanj
6 each from Keonjhar and Puri
5 from Jagatsinghpur
3 from Nayagarh
2 each from Bargarh and Koraput
1 each from Jajpur and Sundergarh
With today’s cases, the total number of recovered patients in the state has gone up to 6,224, the department said.
