Indian menās team of Lakshya Sen, Kidambi Srikanth and doubles pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty defeated Indonesia 3-0 to win their first-ever Thomas Cup gold in the final held at Impact Arena in Thailand.
Lakshya defeated Anthony Ginting by 8-21, 21-17, 21-16 in a thrilling tie. Satwik-Chirag defeated Ahsan-Sukamuljo 18-21, 23-21, 21-19, to clinch the most sensational victory of their career and give India a 2-0 lead.
In the third game, Srikanth defeated Jonatan Christie 21-15, 23-21 to make it 3-0.
