Hit-&-Run Case: Woman & Son Die, Nephew Critical In Odisha’s Balasore

Soro: A woman and her three-year-old son died while her nephew was grievously injuries after the two-wheeler they were riding was hit by an unidentified vehicle on NH-16 near Sheragada in Odisha’s Balasore district on Thursday morning.

The deceased have been identified as Sukanti Senapati, a resident of Manipur area in Soro, and her son Rohit.

According to sources, the accident took place around 9 am when Sukanti was taking her son to district headquarters hospital for a check-up. While she died on the spot, her son and nephew were rushed to hospital in a critical condition. Rohit, however, succumbed to his injuries.
