Hockey India Reviews World Cup Preparations At Kalinga Stadium

Bhubaneswar: Hockey India CEO Elena Norman on Friday inspected construction work at Kalinga Stadium, the venue for Hockey World Cup slated to be held in November this year, in Odisha capital.
Sports Minister Chandra Sarathi Behera and Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Sports & Youth Services, Vishal Dev were also present.
The sports department and Hockey India also held a review meeting at the Sports and Youth Services Department in the presence of members from Industrial Development Corporation Odisha and Odisha Tourism.
Expressing satisfaction over the work, Norman said, “Everything is on schedule and we are extremely excited to see that the work on the venue is nearing completion. The Odisha government is putting in a lot of effort, which is clearly visible.”
