Hockey Odisha Posts 2-1 Win In Jr Women Hockey Championships

Bhopal: Hockey Odisha beat Hockey Haryana, while Hockey Gangpur Odisha drew 3-3 against Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy in theJunior Women’s National Hockey Championship in Bhopal.

For Hockey Odisha, Nimabati Singh (16′) and Abinasi Mukti Surin (69′) scored the goals, while scored Hockey Haryana’s only goal in the sixth minute.

In the other Pool A, Gangpur conceded the lead twice to draw 3-3 with Madhya Pradesh.

The first lead was taken by Madhya Pradesh in sixth minute. However, Janhabi Pradhan scored a brace in the 17th minute and 23rd minute to give Gangpur the lead by 2-1. For MP, Savita scored the equaliser. Gangpur once again took the lead courtesy Jiwan Kishori Toppo, which was equalised by Yogita Verma.
