Home Guard Dies While Undergoing Training In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: In a shocking incident, a home guard reportedly died while attending a refreshers’ course training at the Police Reserve Ground in Bhubaneswar.

The deceased has been identified as Basudev Mansingh, a resident of Khurdha.

According to reports, the home guard was assigned duty at the Airfield Police station in the state capital.

Basudev and some others were receiving the refreshers’ course training at the Police reserve Ground when the incident took place. The reason behind his death is yet to be ascertained.

His body was sent to the Capital Hospital in the city for post-mortem. Meanwhile, Saheed Nagar Police have started an investigation into the death. Senior officials were not immediately available for comment.
