Bhubaneswar: The state government has directed the district, railway and airport authorities to exempt home isolation to the candidates coming to appear at recruitment test of RRB in the city from March 3.
In an official order to the district collectors, municipal commissioners, airport authorities in Bhubaneswar and Jharsuguda and East Coast Railways on Tuesday, the Health and Family Welfare department has stated that around 10,500 candidates are scheduled to appear at the examinations to be conducted by Railway Recruitment Board (RRB).
The chairman of RRB, Bilaspur in Chhattisgarh has informed that the examinations will continue from March 3 to 31.
The department has instructed the authorities that a person establishing his/her identity with a copy of RRB examination admit card will be exempted from home quarantine norms of the government.
But the candidates must strictly adhere to COVID appropriate behaviour during the examinations, the order stated.
