Puri: As per its decision taken by the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) earlier, the second dose of homeopathy medicine was distributed among the servitors of Jagannath Temple and their families here on Friday.
According to official sources, homeopathic immune booster ‘Arsenicum album 30’ will be distributed free of cost to the servitors, who participated in the Rath Yatra festival, and their families in order to contain the spread of coronavirus.
This time, the second dose of the medicine is given to the servitors under the programme, which was launched on the recommendation of the Ministry of AYUSH on June 9 in the Temple Town ahead of the Rath Yatra.
Besides the servitors, the medicine, which is claimed to boost the immune system to fight COVID-19, will be distributed among the SJTA employees, who were involved in Rath Yatra celebration, for two days.
Earlier, the first dose of the homeopathy medicine was distributed to 5641 servitor families in four phases from June 9 to 13 ahead of the Rath Yatra.
