Mumbai: Hours after another cosy photograph of Jacqueline Fernandez and conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar went viral on social media, the actress, in an Instagram post, said that she hopes “justice and good sense prevails”.

The text photograph read, “This country and its people have given me tremendous love and respect. This includes my friends from the media, from whom I have learned a lot. I’m currently going through a rough patch but I’m sure that my friends and my fans will see me through. It is with this trust that I would request my media friends to not circulate images of a nature that intrude my privacy and personal space. You would not do this to your own loved ones, am sure you would not do this to me either. Hoping that justice and good sense prevails. Thank you (sic). She signed off with a folded-hand emoji.

In the picture, the couple can be seen in a mushy moment with Jacqueline showing off a love bite on her neck.

Jacqueline was earlier questioned by the Enforcement Directorate in connection with a 200 crore money laundering case involving Sukesh, who had promised a role for the actress in a big Hollywood production.

Sukesh had confessed to having dated the ‘Bhoot Police’ actress.

Jacqueline had told ED that she knew Sukesh since 2017. “I have been speaking to Sukesh since February 2017. In August 2021, he was arrested, after which I never met him. He told me that he is the owner of Sun TV and from the political family of Jayalalithaa,” Jacqueline told the ED in the charge sheet, reported PTI.

The actress also mentioned that her sister took a loan of $1,50,000 from Chandrasekhar and accepted that he transferred around Rs 15 lakh to the account of her brother who lives in Australia.

Besides Jacqueline, the conman had also given several expensive gifts to Nora Fatehi too. All of which were seized by the ED.
