Bhubaneswar: In a joint raid, the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) and the Commissionerate Police sealed a hotel and bar in the city on Sunday for selling liquor during the shutdown.
Acting on a tip-off, the joint squad raided Utkal Inn near the Garage Chhak and found the open sale of liquor in the bar of the hotel.
The squad later sealed the hotel and bar and served notice to the owner for gross violation of the shutdown guidelines.
